A Query and Inference Service for RDF

Description:
Abstract: 'The creation of RDF raises the prospect of a widely accepted standard for representing expressive declarative knowledge on the Web. However, just representing knowledge and information is not enough: users as well as information agents have to query and use the data in several ways. An RDF Query specification would allow a range of applications to exploit any information source which can be represented in terms of the RDF data model. This paper describes some existing techniques used in logic program evaluation and discusses the way in which the RDF data model relates to this framework.'

Mozilla RDF / Z39.50 Integration Project

Description:
This is a project to investigate the integration of Z39.50 search capabilities with Mozilla's RDF-based information management environment. "There are thousands of networked Z39.50 servers in existence already. It should be possible to identify some mechanism whereby the Mozilla user interface allows people to send queries to these servers and have the resulting records appear within the standard Mozilla bookmarks/sitemaps interface."

RDF in Mozilla

Description:
he Resource Description Framework, or RDF, is a technology used in the Mozilla (aka Navigator 5) browser to integrate and aggregate Internet resources. These pages describe Mozilla's RDF implementation and provide links to APIs, status reports, source code, developer logs and the Aurora/sidebar user interface which provides a 'next generation bookmarks' facility based on XML and RDF.

SiLRI (Simple Logic-based RDF Interpreter)

Description:
SiLRI is a main-memory logic-based inference engine implemented in Java. It implements a major part of Frame-Logic and has support for RDF (Resource Description Format, the metadata standard of the W3C). The implemented semantics include well-founded semantics and the rule language allows general logic programs, enabling a specification like modeling.

SiRPAC - Simple RDF Parser and Compiler

Description:
SiRPAC compiles RDF/XML documents into the 3-tuples of the corresponding RDF data model. The documents can reside on local file system or at a URI on the Web. Also, the parser can be configured to automatically fetch corresponding RDF schemas from the declared namespaces. SiRPAC is suitable for embedded use as well as command line use. The system also includes an interface for hooking the parser and other RDF data sources to other RDF components such as storage and query systems. Application authors will likely be interested in the 'datasource' and 'rdfconsumer' interfaces.
